I want to see if the Kate Middleton connection will elevate the sales of the Illuminum.
    A coconut/gardenia seems mainstream enough.

Oh, I’m QUITE sure it will, no doubt! The more mainstream the better, I’d say.

But I assume Illuminum is a niche brand?

Yes, but from the sound of it, they don’t do “challenging” fragrances…that’s what I meant. If this is pretty & wearable, would think it’s going to sell like hotcakes.

Agreed, after all, I had never even heard of the brand before and now I am (quite) curious.

I know Daisy’s already done her share to host a major split of this…

Timely that White Gardenia Petals is available for pre-order. How about a Kate Middleton celebrity perfume?

She may be one of the few famous people who isn’t likely to license her name to someone…

Illuminum is a new line just introduced by Michael Boadi who is behind the Boadicea the Victorious line. sorry I missed this post yesterday. I’ve become quite the gardenia & tuberose fan these last 6 months or so and I’m very eager to try this….in fact, I’m splitting some right now….can hardly wait for delivery!!!!

Boadi was quoted in the London Daily Mail as saying they had been overwhelmed with orders, especially from America. He even shipped a crate to a crazy fan named Daisy! 😀

      Hi Daisy,
Is it too late to get in on a split of Illuminum White Gardenia Petals ?

      Thanks

I have tried it and written a “review” over on my blog. It is pretty and feminine – just what I would choose if I ever made it down the aisle…I have spoken to the store and they are totally bombed out with orders and reeling from the shock of all the interest!
