Mark White Vetiver

A blend of unexpected contrasts. A dark, smoky vetiver vibe merges with intimate notes of ultra-femme white tuberose for the mark. girl who loves to embrace what’s different and daring.

Additional notes include jasmine, Haitian vetiver, dark cacao beans and patchouli.

Mark White Vetiver is available in 50 ml Fragrance Mist, $22. (via shop.meetmark, markgirlmanda.blogspot)

Will definitely sniff. I agree with you on both points, AmyT. It would be a welcome relief to be taken with something other than costly Amouage attars or Tom Ford Private Blends. *sighs*

The packaging is pretty cool. I grew up with Avon products, so I’m always up for trying their stuff. I actually have a Mark perfume that my mom gifted me… It’s called Hollywood Pink Flamingo I think?? It’s a fruity floral, but I actually enjoy wearing it. I have a couple of Avon perfumes as well…

I’ll have to give this one a try. I have a bottle of the Mark Lemon Sugar, and even though I’m sure my perfumista card will be revoked when I admit this, I really like it in the summer.

This one sounds much more sophisticated than the brand’s usual offering; I’m glad to see something like this marketed to their demographic.

Oh, my first perfume love was an Avon. A friend gave me her bottle of Pearls & Lace when I was ten and it was the most gorgeous perfume I’d gotten up to that point. Odyssey is still one I like to wear now and then too, and I am glad I have a bottle in my collection.

The notes for this sound fantastic and I’ve been anxious to explore more vetiver perfumes lately after loving L’Artisan’s CdVS and Givenchy Hot Couture. And you can’t beat the price.

The notes sound tasty – and indeed, the price is right. I look forward to hearing how it compares to Artisan CdVS.

I smelled the little “rub & sniff” page of this frag in my sister’s Avon catalogue and I was pleasantly surprised! Since it smells that good on paper, I think I’m going to have to have her order a bottle for me.

    Hi,

After reading the notes, I bought it. I feel like the opener is very “sticky purple fruit” and oddly, sandalwood. Silage isn’t that great, but it’s an interesting fragrance. I don’t pick up much Vetiver at all! Would love to hear from someone who is a better nose than I am, which is probably just about everyone. ; )

No vetiver! That’s a shame, but glad you like it.
