Marc Jacobs will launch Daisy Eau So Fresh in February. The new fruity floral fragrance for women is a flanker to 2007's Marc Jacobs Daisy.
Daisy Eau So Fresh was developed by perfumer Alberto Morillas, and is geared towards a younger audience than the original. The notes include ruby red grapefruit, raspberry, green leaves, pear, violet, wild rose, apple blossom, lychee, jasmine, musk, plum and cedar.
Marc Jacobs Daisy Eau So Fresh will be available in 75 or 125 ml Eau de Toilette and in matching body lotion. (via cosmeticsbusiness, diarydirectory, elleuk)

an even younger audience? do pregnant women have to swallow the stuff in order to have nicely scented fetuses?
I thought that was funny too! But think this one will be fruitier/younger, all the same. The original Daisy wasn’t really your typical tween scent.
True it’s not your typical tween scent…. But i did get it for my 13 yr old niece who loves it. Can not imagine a younger wearer! Daisy as it was is a perfect scent to introduce a girl to perfumes I think… I’ve been a loyal marc jacobs for women wearer since I was a teenager, although I was about 17. As much as Ive always loved many different fragrances, only this year or so have a strayed in a substantial way from MJ. With so many fragrance explorations and discoveries to be had, it’s hard to stick with one, as much as I enjoy having a consistent signature.
I kinda look forward to this one. The original is a bit too much for me. I like it. But it gives me a splitting headace. I imagine, this could be great on hot summer days. And the bottle is even more cute on this. I might give it a test, before buying. I love the commercials and pictures, for Mar Jacobs scents, but I haven’t found one, that I really adore.
I missed a C on Marc, but I think u figure it out đ
The original Marc Jacobs is still my favorite, although I thought Blush was pretty good too — it got axed though so guess it didn’t sell.
Yeah…I kinda like that one as well. But I still hope he will launch a perfume, that is interesting and a bit of an edgy one. Maybe he will do one for Louis Vuitton, one day.
ooh I’d love to see that, Jimmy Choo is launching a fragrance so why not.
Oh what a nice surprise. I’m loving the elongated bottle on this one and the more colorful cap. It won’t be the stuff of genius but I’m sure it won’t be horrifying. Thanks so much for posting Robin. I’m a fan of the original Daisy and Marc Jacobs can do no wrong in my book. Well I’m kinda over Lola but that’s just between us. LOL! Have a wonderful Thanksgiving everyone! Have a wonderful Thanksgiving Robin! : )
oh I hate it when Marc Jacobs brings out different versions of daisy, the bottles are so damn nice. I wanted the one with green petals, but Harvey Nichols didn’t have it so I got the blue one (GOSH knows why) I realised then that I don’t like Daisy. I went in House of Fraser a couple of weeks and there sitting on the shelves were the GREEN edition of Diasy, I was so mad but I told myself not to bother because I don’t like Daisy and I’m getting rid of it wanyway. I’m giving it to a friend for her 18th, even though it’s like 90% or something full and you can tell where the box has been opened, oh well.
Lola’s bottle is even better and I had to kick myself not to get the velvet edition aswell because Lola isn’t even that cracking.
so I hope this smells better, I’ll have to restrain myself from this aswell, I buy some perfume purely for the bottle đ .
I don’t tend to get that excited about the bottles – so less sources of pleasure for me ) : ) :
Oh, you know I’m a fan of Daisy… my mini’s all gone and I think I will have to spring for another one, at least.
But “Eau So Fresh”?? Eau No. That’s a horrible name.
Eau gosh it is! I think maybe they meant eeeww fresh. I like the original scent – but not enough to actually purchase it. Unless it was ultra discounted, of course… But I agree that the bottles are V.V.V. nice.
And I like the way Lola followed up the rubber flower theme, though I prefer the retro cute and eau-so-simple daisy design.
That sounds pretty. I’ll certainly give it a sniff, and anything marketed to teens that has a chance of displacing the toffee, vanilla, patchouli, sebum, dirty knickers accord that seems to be in vogue right now is okay in my book.
To go even younger they are going to have to start selling them in those scholastic catalogs.
I am very much looking forward to the new Splashes. Haven’t been in love with any of them so far but I love Ginger and Cranberry. I have no idea what Curacao is but I’m looking forward to experiencing something new. : )
