well, there’s a minute-7 I’ll never get back…..I was rather hoping there’d be more footage of the bottling process…guess for that sort of thing I’ll have to stick to the discovery channel.

I’m with you; I always like to watch people at work and watch how things are made.

yep, I like that stuff too….around here we’re always watching something like that. From growing moonlight mushrooms to making crayons and guitars! I did not need to see Kate Moss spritzing perfume and saying “beautiful, wonderful and lovely” (or whatever it was) —but I should have known because it’s really just an advertisement….shouldn’t have been expecting anything documentary-ish with KM in it.

I’ll like to take a factory tour if I get the chance, as I’m always interested in seeing how things are made. I’ve toured the Blue Bell creamery, the Tabasco factory, a rum distillery, and the Denver Mint, all of which gave out free samples (yes, even the mint!).

It was not terribly informative, was it? Sorry about the minute seven seconds.

I always like models better before I hear them speak (It’s all Tyra’s fault).

It seemed more like a publicity stunt than an educational experience on KM and Coty’s part. Well, at least it was beneficial for THEM! LOL.

I don’t begrudge them the publicity but they could have made it more interesting.

I actually really like the bottle. And I love those clear bottles with just the note or accord on them: Amber Gris, Purple Violet, etc. I wish companies would sell the broken down notes like that. I still have a set of (approx) 5ml vials of the main accords of Calvin Klein’s Truth that they sold when it first launched. (Scents are: citrus, lilac, bamboo, vanilla and grass).

I haven’t seen it in person, but it looks nice.

Sigh. I guess for enough cash I’d also speak @!# for the cameras; that way I could buy more perfume. But K.M was my favourite model for her grunge, don’t give a @$# look. But a statement, ‘I would never leave the house without a fragrance on’ is the kind of ‘I wouldn’t be caught dead with a chipped nail’ statement that really deserves a bitch slap.

As it turns out, I’m not willing to devote any of my life to it, but I can imagine!

I’m an optimist….I saw “perfume factory” had to see….you’ve made the right decision :-)
