Well… first it was Borneo 1834. Then, most recently (like, within the last 24 hours), it was Habit Rouge, Arpege, and Cuir de Lancome. I need to stop. I also bought a vintage bottle of Diorissimo on ebay, and have a couple of feelers out on some other things. Really. I need to stop.

hahaha yeah, never buy SL without a coupon code!! I picked up Bois de Violette from parfum1 —decided I didn’t like it : split it up….then turned around and nabbed a bottle of SL Arabie and Agent Provocateur Strip at fragrancenet with that INSTYLE20 code…so that was my shopping for this round of perfume frenzy 🙂
This is interesting… Because my work computer has gotten a virus so many times, they installed a thingy that tells you if a site has a bad reputation. When I tried to go to the BE site, the red flag came up. Does anyone know about this? If it’s not their fault, and just some weird random thing that my computer doesn’t like them, I don’t want to start any rumors. Just curious if anyone has had any problems with them, or the security of their site. (And Robin, if this is inappropriate to ask on here, my apologies. Take this down if so.)
No, it’s fine. But I have no answers. I get that warning from Chrome, usually, and am not getting it for BE
This is probably a “trusted site” certification issue. I believe companies would have to jump through a lot of admin hoops to get their sites certified or listed as “trusted.” BE may not have done it, so depending on which security software your company subscribes to, BE’s URL may not be recognized as “safe” because they’re not “on the list.” Hope that makes it somewhat “clearer.” 😉
All I can say is that I’ve ordered from BE lots of times and never had a bit of a problem.
What happened to Avon they allow people to order online what about the representatives? Just something I am wondering any one know?
Both exist. You can also order online *from* a representative, if you have one. But I do feel like it is harder and harder to find anyone who sells Avon anymore. I love their bubble bath, and I’ll admit I also have always loved getting the little brochures. Video killed the radio star, internet killed sales jobs…
I love Avon products I liked to look in it and check what I want.Its not as fun on the internet.
Exactly. 🙁 I used to have an Avon lady at my gym, but she fell off the face of the earth. I liked to snag the brochures on my way to the treadmill.
There are also stores here and there – I have a local one. I would imagine it is a franchise type of thing.
