Project D, Dawn, Day & Dusk by Project D ~ new perfumes

Posted by Robin on 25 September 2010 4 Comments

Project D Eau de Parfum

Project D, the fashion house of Australian singer & actress Dannii Minogue and designer Tabitha Somerset-Webb, has launched their first fragrances, an eponymous signature scent and three variations packaged in purse sprays.

Project D ~ the signature fragrance; "...inspired by the marriage of two very distinct styles - glamour and rock 'n' roll. [...]  The natural top accord incorporates inspiration from neroli, bergamot and ylang ylang gliding through a sense of intrigue and mystery into the whirl wind heart accord of tuberose, Japanese osmanthus, mimosa and purple orchid, igniting the senses." Project D is available in 50 ml Eau de Parfum, £34.

The purse sprays are 10 ml each, and will be available in a gift set for £25:

Dawn ~ "ready to inspire"; with bergamot, geranium, neroli and ylang ylang,

Day ~ "ready to intrigue", with tuberose, daisy, osmanthus and mimosa.

Dusk ~ "ready to ignite", with sandalwood, skin musk and hot amber.

Project D Eau de Parfum can be found now at Harvey Nichols in the UK. (first quote via harveynichols, additional information via projectdonline.co.uk)

Funny coincidence… I heard a song by DM yesterday on web radio and it had been so long since I’d heard the name that I’d almost forgotten that I ever knew she existed. Not that there aren’t a million pop starlets I’ve never heard of to begin with…

Project D is the first and the set of three should be released soon.
I quite like the idea of having the main one, then layering the set of three with it. It’s sort of like four perfumes for the price of two.

I’m interested in trying this, but as it’s new it’s only in Harvey Nichols at the minute.
