Indie brand Soivohle' has launched three new fragrances: Fig Amarette, Peche et Vert and Vanille Otr.

Peche et Vert ~ "Peach and Green. Creamy fresh peaches with a green peach leaf opening, grounded in a light ambery base."

Vanille Otr ~ "A green, herbal Vanilla scent that wears more like a cologne than a gourmand. Bergamot, Green Leaves."

i have not tried this line, but I may need to do so. I LOVE that they offer 5 ml and 15 ml sizes, and at reasonable prices. I really bothers me that so many brands either do not have smaller sizes than 50 or 100 ml, or if they do, they cost almost as much as the large size.

The 5 ml bottles are very nicely priced, agreed! I’m intrigued by the Vanille.

This is a really nice line. Even the scents that don’t work for me are well crafted. i am looking forward to trying these. She has an excellent sample program, too.

Agreed! I haven’t loved every Soivohle scent I’ve tried but they were all nicely done. Last time I ordered samples she threw in samples of two new scents for free.

Like Joe, I’m mostly interested in the vanilla and the peach. Peach is a difficult note for me so I’m still looking for one to love.

Where to buy? Do any retailers carry so we can’t test?

What I meant was: so we CAN test…

Primarily just direct from her website; she’s a small independent operation. Though I think ReiRien started carrying a few of her creations recently (but also an online etailer).

Oooh, pretty new bottles! I like them so much better than the old Zorn ones with the primary color dots…

I had a sample of Vanilla OTR that I had forgotten about so I pulled it out earlier. It’s actually really great on the opening, then dries down to something that to my nose is sort of soapy/floral/herbal.

I may spring for 5ml of that and the PĂŞche, which sounds great to me as well. I also decided recently that I love her Transcendental Musc.

So it really is like a green vanilla? Sounds interesting.

as a fig fan, i would be eager to try the fig. though i’ve never had fig with a vanilla note before, hence fig amarette could be interesting.

peche et vert is also interesting. at the moment, my only peach fragrance is ‘georgian peach’ – bought in a boutique called ‘initial’ in the far east. it’s nicely done it has to be said!

Being one of the few fruity people here I am interested in the peach. Yesterday I tried Fresh Fig Apricot and liked it a lot, so I think more fruit exploration is in the future. Haven’t tried many of these – I think I have gotten a couple in swaps.

I also love how affordable and small these can be since sometimes I need to wear a fragrance a few times before I decide to invest in a larger bottle, and it is always nice when that’s an option from the manufacturer. All of these look really good, especially since I love all three of the featured notes, especially the interesting take on vanilla. I still haven’t found a good peach scent to rival TBS’s Fuzzy Peach, so am always on the lookout for one that does it justice. Maybe this is it. 🙂

All of these sound just delightful, especially the fig-almond-vanilla one. I love gourmand and/or fruity fragrances that have a little more of a sophisticated edge, so I’ll probably be ordering samples of all of these.
