I already posted the 'Le making of', here's the finished product. For Trésor in Love by Lancôme, and featuring Elettra Wiedemann, daughter of former Trésor spokesmodel Isabella Rossellini.

Very pretty ad. I confess I didn’t watch the making-of video. But it’s interesting that the model shows no resemblance to her famous grandmother…or even her own mother, for that matter. I mean, sometimes Isabella looks exactly like Ingrid, but with darker hair and eyes. But I never would have known Elettra was related to either of those women.
I wouldn’t have either.
Hence growing up Elettra used to joke that she was adopted ;-p She looks much more like her dad to be honest–with dark hair, of course.
My thoughts exactly MJR17 – but she sure is cute though. The commercial was sweet – not obnoxious at all like they can be! 😉
Yep, I can only agree.
The non-resemblance was exactly what I was thinking too! She’s pretty enough, but, you know, I don’t get the ad. They see each other across a crowded room, so it’s not like he’s smelling her fabulous sillage or whatever. Within seconds they’re snogging behind a door, so we’d guess at ‘in lust’ rather than ‘in love’. And at the last moment, as he’s about to kiss her, she turns her head to look at the camera instead. Found the whole thing incoherent. Give me the Kenzo Flower ad any day.
True that the story line does not say much about the perfume…but these days, any ad without writhing naked women is a plus in my book, LOL…
