The Le Labo city exclusives are also available, in limited amounts, at Barneys. They have them here in Chicago for the month of November, but I think they are limited to 15 bottles of each.

I think all the Le Labo retailers have them…I know Colette does, and I think maybe Le Labo online too, although not sure of that.

I was really excited about those, until I saw how much they cost. No testers at Luckyscent for them, and I’m not buying unsniffed.

They’re more expensive than the regular line, it’s true. There are 2 I’d like to have, but they’re too much $.

Yes buying unsniffed at those prices is raising quite high the risk bar.
I would love to test vanille44, the poivre and the gaiac, they seem right up my alley, except for the strong musk (clean, I suppose).
Well, I can live with few lemmings after all.
I just discovered wonderful stuff, which I can test, so I’m allowed to snob all the “exclusive-available only at full moon” marketing!
(exciting discovery: the different company Bois d’iris, me the iris hater, loves it!!! The homonym VC&A allowed me to understand what iris can become, when masterfully handled…)

Zazie: glad you discovered the TDC Bois d’Iris. It’s one of my favorites.

It’s the same for me … I’m interested in the Gaiac 10, and possibly the Poivre 23 (but I live in the UK, so it wouldn’t be that hard to get hold of the Poivre). But the price is far far too high for me to even consider buying the Gaiac 10 un-sniffed … even if I am 90% confident that I’d like it.

Great… now that NICE Kenzo discount is making me want to seriously get a sniff of Flower Essentielle. I wonder if my Sephora has it yet.

Ooh, KenzoUSA has a promo code! I want Oriental, Indian Holi and Winter Flowers. And we just finished the shower gel in Amour that was used as a shampoo for my son’s hair – great sillage for a shower product!
