Swiss brand Shantara will follow Rêve Etoilé, their debut fragrance, with Shaman, a new natural fragrance for men.

What with Halloween coming up, and me in a silly mood, my first thought was “Aha! And can be used for driving through the heart of a vampire!”

I’m sure it’s a lovely scent. In fact, notes sound like it could be a happy place for me. I’m just saying.

Ha! I clicked past the jump to comment on how lovely I thought these bottles were, but your remark made me spray my tea. They ARE kinda stake-ish.
The lavender, ylang and sage does not sound wholly appetizing, though. I’ll pass.

I like the bottles! And nothing wrong w/ a bottle that would kill a vampire, LOL…

Perfume has been described figuratively as a weapon, why not literally as well! :D

The bottles are lovely green so of course I want one.

But …”evokes the virgin forest”….with their phallic shaped bottle…
maybe it is better to go with the vampire stake idea.

Ha! Y’know, my “oooh pretty” reaction seems pretty par for the course, but all these other associations are making me question my initial reaction.

Then again, who doesn’t need a good stake at the ready. Just in case.

I liked the bottle, too, until you pointed all that out. :)

well, it IS GREEN and the only thing better than a lovely dark green bottle is a lovely dark BLUE bottle….I’m such a sucker for those dark glass bottles.
However —in the end , I buy for juice, not for purty bottles.

Ha! Exactly what *I* was thinking!

I blame the set director for a production of “A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum” I was in during college. Everywhere you looked there were phallic symbols. I think it messed with my head (before that I actually didn’t know what a phallic symbol was).

Or maybe I just have a dirty mind.

      Agree that is phallic shaped!

But such a lovely green … maybe I can get over the phallic association for the colour! :)

They knew how to package this right. The bottles look mystical and the name adds to that. I think the husband would shy away from the lavender, though.

Hard to say how heavy the lavender is w/o trying it.

Bottle ‘troversy! Say, y’all need to keep on feeling the bottle love…it can be beautiful AND deadly… just like some favorite perfumes, nyuk nyuk.

Which isn’t to say I wouldn’t want one of these bottles tucked in my pocket when I trick or treat…just in case…though I’ll need one of those silver bullet thingies, too, in case of werewolves. ;)
