Leather and spice. I’m intrigued. Anyone else familiar with this line?

I just took a quick look at the website (many thanks for the link, Robin!). All of the three women’s scents look interesting. There’s no online info on how to get samples, though.

I didn’t see a way to buy samples either…there are small rollons, but they’re 15 euros (I think they’re in euros??) so too pricey just to try.

I am unsure what currency symbol they are using there! But it’s a perfume of Indian origin so I”d think it’d be in rupees!! But I did figure out that the 50ml is $75USD and the 100ml is $95USD
and no sampling info….not that I’m looking for samples because my spending has been outrageous lately….

But I think they’re based in France? That’s why I assumed Euros, but who knows.

apparently they are basing the operation out of France….India not being the perfume capitol of the world, I guess that would make sense…but that symbol isn’t the euro symbol…they’re messing with our heads!

If you click through on the shopping basket Paypal converts the funky symbol to Euros.

It’s not the best English translation ever. Sounds nice though!

Oof, someone should have hunted around for an acquaintance with a better command of English, at least. Sounds pretty nice though.

I was a bit flummoxed by the clumsy name until I made the connection that “Inde” is the French word for India, so it makes sense.

Looks like samples are available via their contact page, but I think you’d have to send one of those international postal coupons or something, probably very inconvenient (or too inconvenient for me, let’s put it that way…).

I ordered a roll-on of this last week, in a moment of weakness & curiosity! Shipping for 2 of the same roll-ons was 15 euros, for 2 different, 30 euros. Someone please explain!
I will report when it arrives…

First Impressions..FEMiNiNDE, lovely rose, jasmine, sandalwood, and cumin, the flowers fade out and leave the sandalwood and spices..
the dry-down is very good and reminds me of the sandalwood oils one used to smell in the 70s.
The tiny roll-on applicator is beautifully made, and comes with English illustrated instructions on how to fill it and an included pipette.
SAHLiNi also included 2 generous samples of L’HOMME & LA FEMME and a scented ceramic tile.
LA FEMME is a lovely floriental and L HOMME a pine and sandalwood guy thing…
All three smell expensive and well made.
I will run these by Joe and we can get another opinion!

Inevitably I’m going to mix up Sahlini and Shalini. Probably both out of my price range anyway and smelling like a Bollywood star doesn’t interest me. I rather like the term ‘slightly leather’ though.
