A Beautiful Life Smitten & Smitten Pink ~ new fragrances

Posted by Robin on 20 January 2009 7 Comments

Smitten LogoA Beautiful Life Smitten perfume

New Hope, PA boutique A Beautiful Life has launched Smitten and Smitten Pink:

Smitten (shown above, launched in 2008) ~ "Sparkling top notes of tangerine and white pepper melt into a bed of creamy florals (Lily of the Valley, Cananga, Jasmine Absolute), anchored by the warmth of sheer woods and a touch of patchouli. It's fresh, feminine, and sexy - like the blush of first love or the sultry promise of a summer night. Try it and you'll be SMITTEN."

Smitten Pink (recently launched) ~ "Juicy top notes of Pink Grapefruit and Black Currant reveal a romantic accord of sweet southern florals (Gardenia, Magnolia, and Freesia) grounded by seductive oakmoss and a hint of musk. Inviting and captivating – you’ll be Smitten PINK!"

A Beautiful Life Smitten and Smitten Pink are available at A Beautiful Life in 5 ml Perfume Oil roll-on, $38 each. (via press release)

    Robin,
Have you tried either? I live close to New Hope, PA so I'd love to support a local business.
The name “Smitten” is rather cute.

I haven't! It's a great store though, if you've never been — they have a nice selection of niche perfumes.

You know, I just realized I've been to the shop – it's great – I bought a Miller Harris perfume while there…. :-)

Yep, that's one of the lines they carry.

Cananga- that's new to me. What is it and how can it be compared? Smitten- Wow what a clever name. Hope it lives up to the name. They both sound intriguing.

    Cananga is ylang ylang.

Thanks Robin. Now I can picture it. Ylang ylang sounds better. They are probably trying the mysterious marketing technique to sound more exotic.
