Crazylibellule and The Poppies Les Batons ~ new fragrances

Crazylibellule and The Poppies Les Batons solid perfumesCrazylibellule and The Poppies has launched a new trio of solid twist-up perfumes, Les Batons.

De Bon Matin ~ "Early in the morning, a spruce olfactory awakening. Starting the day in good spirits and full of heart. Fresh, floral and fruity." With notes of black currant, apricot, mandarin, cyclamen, rose, jasmine, orange blossom, sandalwood, amber, cedar, musk and vanilla.

Après-Midi en Douce ~ "On a quiet afternoon, an olfactory idle for the afternoon, like a short nap, allowing oneselve [sic] to gather energy for the rest of the day. Gentle, oriental, floral." The notes include neroli, violet, leaves, cereals, freesia, hazelnut, heliotrope and honey.

Ensemble ce Soir ~ "Together tonight, an olfactory elegance, the glamorous gesture at the end of the day; the caress of the night, a rendez-vous...powdery, floral and sophisticated." Includes notes of blackcurrant, apricot, ivy leaves, rose, jasmine, sandalwood and musk.

Crazylibellule and The Poppies Les Batons are $59 each for .34 oz, and are available now for pre-order at b-glowing.

    I think the belllule line has achieved the point at which there are just too many scents now. I think.

    Perhaps! I would have taken another dozen of the cheapie solids (what they're now calling “Crazy Sticks”, and wish they'd done a woodsy/spice collection) but these new Batons are too spendy for me.

    This is fun. I don't really mind how the batons smell but they look so good…like some mysterious very expensive…luxury….lipstick, hidden brush, foundation stick or a very precious hand painted little fan in a baton…

    The packaging is really pretty, and guessing these will hold up nicer in a purse than the original CLATP solids, which had paper covers.

    I second Columbina and would add that I'm disappointed they didn't stick with the original small solids which I thought were a brilliant idea. I was sort of rooting for them to capture that sought after youth market (those adorable tubes and the price point seems so perfect) so that the teens on the bus would smell like Encens Mystic.
