Are these worth the money? That is steep!

I'm assuming you mean the Diptyques. I think they're very well done, but it is more than I'll pay for a candle personally — I save my money for perfume.

We've reviewed lots of their candles — click on the word Diptyque in the article and you'll find links.

how beautiful that spruce jar is! They're sort of pricey for me – Diptyques – more of a splurge. Thankfully I think Yankee Candle's balsam and cedar jars are a terrific evergreen scent – lots of throw and they scent the whole house.

Oh those Diptyques look and sound wonderful! They are expensive but I usually treat myself at Christmas to Feu de Bois and it lasts well and has excellent throw so as an occasional treat I think they are worth it if you like and buy candles.

Looks like you have your Xmas treat all ready for you then! The packaging is lovely, and all 3 of these sound tempting to me.

    Hi Robin,
The Diptyques look great! Must get some fo the holidays. What do you think are going to be new/ exciting scents for the coming year? Will scents/ home fragrance have trends do you think? It might be interesting if it did. I just got a few Tocca candles and they are really yummy smelling! Some quite unusual scents like Tobacco & Havana! Not typical flowery notes. Love it!

I do think there are definite trends in fragrances, personal & home, but I have to admit I don't pay a whole ton of attention. For the coming year, I think the By Kilians (just released) & the five new Thierry Muglers look interesting, and so do the 3 Annick Goutals that launch in December. Actually, so much new stuff is coming that I can't keep it all straight :-)
