New & upcoming fragrances

Posted by Robin on 16 August 2005 7 Comments

According to W Magazine, the new L'Artisan fragrance I mentioned yesterday will be called Fleur d'Oranger. Other news from W: Apothia will release a new scent called Velvet Rope, inspired by a vanilla martini and featuring vanilla and grapefruit zest. Many thanks to Victoria for the news!

Curated by Colette is a trio of limited edition scents that will be issued this September by trendy Paris boutique Colette. Read all about them at Bois de Jasmin.

Update: see reviews of L'Artisan Fleur d'Oranger, Apothia Velvet Rope & Curated by Colette Three AsFour.

'Fleur d'Oranger,' you say? Now there's an original name! That'll stand out in a crowd, for sure. Still, as a newly-won l'Artisan partisan (heh), I'm looking forward to shmelling it.

L, I am looking forward to it too, but wary until I hear the price…I hear it is considerably more expensive than the regular line. Figures it will be something I need, right?

Anyone remember the late, lamented Princess Neroli from L'A? Perhaps this is a remake of that?

A, That must have been something from “before my addiction”, was it wonderful?

My husband received a sample of the new apothia velvet rope and to be honest it smells really cheap. Women don't even waste your time.

Thanks, don't know that I'll ever get my hands on a sample anyway!
