New at Aedes: Mizensir candles

Posted by Robin on 9 March 2005 5 Comments

Aedes now has 11 candles by Mizensir, a line created by Alberto Morillas, the nose behind fragrances such as Kenzo Flower, Thierry Mugler Cologne, and Armani Sensi. My pick: Cypres de Toscane, described as a "mediterranean blend with essences of cypress and incense". Please comment if you've tried any of these!

And on a side note, a report yesterday in Business Wire (link no longer working, sorry) says that "the typical consumer spends $266 per year on home fragrance products". Wow, I really haven't been doing my share.

I received this email — this candle does sound wonderful! Maybe a Mother's Day gift to myself??

They look wonderful, but I am so cheap! All I could think of is: that is the price of a bottle of perfume. Let me know if you try one, I could be tempted 🙂

I consider cat litter a home fragrance product, since its main purpose, so far as I am concerned, is to improve the fragrance of my home, so I am doing my share.

I just stumbled across this thread, about 1.5 years late, but my brother bought me a Mizensir candle (Rose Blanche). It has yet to arrive, but I will let you all know when it gets here!!! :)))

Oh do, because I still don't know of anyone who has tried them. I gave them a sniff in Aedes, but that is not at all the same as burning them.
